Annual Percentage Rates

The Annual Percentage Rate you receive for the above sub-accounts are based on certain credit-worthiness criteria.  Other charges that may be imposed are shown below.  Your loan rate will be set at the time of each advance and will be disclosed on the advance voucher.

 

Share Secured

The Annual Percentage Rate for the share secured advances will be the dividend rate being paid on the regular shares on the date of the advance plus 3% with a minimum of 6%.  If there is an existing balance on the date of the new advance, the entire balance will be at the new Annual Percentage Rate.  The current Daily Periodic Rate and Annual Percentage Rate will be disclosed on the advance voucher at the time of the advance.

 

Variable Rates

For Certificate Secured, the Annual Percentage Rate for certificate secured advances will be the dividend rate being paid on the Certificate offered as security on the date of the advance plus 3% with a minimum of 6%.  If there is an existing balance on the date of the new advance, the entire balance will be at the new Annual Percentage Rate.  The certificate must be renewed until the advance is completely paid.  Failure to renew the certificate will result in default.  When the Certificate is renewed, the Annual Percentage Rate will change to reflect the new dividend rate.  Any increase in the Annual Percentage Rate will result in more payments of the same amount until what you owe has been paid.  The current Daily Periodic Rate and Annual Percentage Rate will be disclosed on the advance voucher at the time of the advance.

 

Member Loyalty Discount

You will receive a discount of 0.25% off the Annual Percentage Rate for each of the following credit union services you use.  The maximum discount you can receive is 1.00%.

Loan Protection Policy (GAP, MBI, Life, Disability) 

Share/Certificate, VISA Check Cards, Real Estate and Loan Specials are not eligible for the discounted rate.  If you discontinue any service for which you have received a discount the Annual Percentage Rate will revert to the normal rate for that sub-account.

 

 

Filing Fee

You will be charged a lien filing fee at the time of an advance if the Credit Union takes a security interest in your collateral.  The amount of the filing fee will be based upon the amount of fee required by state law for the credit union to obtain a lien on your property.

 

Minimum Payment for Line of Credit

Your minimum monthly payment will be $30.00 per $1000.  Your payment amount will be calculated at the time of each advance.  You also agree to pay any amount past due or any amount in excess of your approved credit limit.

 

Late Charges

If you are more than 10 days late, you will be charged 20% of the amount of interest due on the date of payment with a minimum charge of $20.00.

 

Returned Item Fee

You will be charged $25.00 when a check submitted for payment on your account is returned to the Credit Union, regardless of the reason.

 

Collateral Protection Insurance

You will be charged a fee of $50.00 if Collateral Protection Insurance is added to your secured loan by the Credit Union.  Your monthly payment may increase if the Collateral Protection Insurance is added to your loan.

 

Collection Cost

You agree to pay all costs of collecting the amount you owe under this agreement including court costs, reasonable attorney fees and the cost of any appeal by the Credit Union.
